Samaritans: Annual Report 2013

An Annual Report celebrating sixty years of befriending. Central London Samaritans was the founding branch of the Samaritans movement. Central London Samaritans provides support for anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair 24 hours a day, and they haven’t closed at any point in the last 60 years.

The report explains the purpose of Samaritans and their work in the year 2012/13 – particularly their outreach activities in partnership with Network Rail, Cruse, and HMPs Brixton and Holloway.

The cover illustration celebrates 60 years of the Samaritans movement. As the founding branch of a 24/7 service, Central London Samaritans has never shut in over six decades.

Samaritans provides support for anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair, 24 hours a day by phone, email, text and face-to-face. You can find out more about the work of Central London Samaritans here.

Design for charities

The design of this Annual Report is a part of an ongoing relationship with Central London Samaritans. I specialise in working with charities and public sector clients. Having worked in-house at a charity I understand how charities work and the importance of cost-effective design.
